Dr. Steven Schaeffer is a podiatric surgeon who primarily focuses on lower extremity sports medicine and is skilled in both elective and reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle. Utilizing the latest aesthetic techniques Dr. Schaeffer specializes in bunion and hammertoe procedures, revisional surgery, as well as foot and ankle reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Steven Schaeffer, FACFAS joined Achilles Foot and Ankle Center in 2022. Dr. Schaeffer comes to us from his hometown of Hershey, PA. Prior to attending college, Dr. Schaeffer served a mission for his church in the country of New Zealand.
Following this, he then earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Brigham Young University in Provo, UT in 2008. Upon graduation, he attended podiatry school at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. It was during these years that his love for the profession grew. Dr. Schaeffer continued his clinical and surgical education and training and recently completed a forefoot and reconstructive rearfoot/ankle surgical residency program through the Heritage Valley Beaver Podiatric Residency Program.
