Dr. Aaron Bradley is a podiatric surgeon who primarily focuses on lower extremity sports medicine and is skilled in both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle. Utilizing the latest aesthetic techniques Dr. Bradley specializes in cosmetic bunion and hammertoe procedures, revisional surgery, as well as foot and ankle reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Bradley is highly experienced in the surgical arena, he takes pride in exhausting all other non-surgical treatments first. He is always looking to improve patient outcomes and is keen on keeping up with the latest literature and technology regarding conservative treatment.
Dr. Bradley enjoys living a healthy lifestyle and performing high intensity workouts, of course balanced by what he would describe as being a “foodie”. His other hobbies include skiing, biking, camping, and boating. He is originally from Frederick, Maryland and is an avid DC sports fan. Dr. Bradley resides in Glen Allen with his wife, 1-year old son, and German Shepherd.
Dr. Aaron Bradley DPM, AACFAS received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry at the University of Maryland College Park in College Park , Maryland in 2011.
He received his degree in Kinesiological Sciences and continued gaining experience in both the fitness and rehabilitation arenas prior to entering medical school.
Prior to entering the field of podiatric medicine, Dr. Bradley worked as an athletic trainer for several years. This opportunity helped spark his passion for lower extremity biomechanics, and during his undergraduate years at the University of Maryland College Park he took part in biomechanical research on the Under Armour athletic shoes.
Dr. Bradley, DPM, AACFAS began podiatric training at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine (NYCPM) in Manhattan, New York in July of 2017.
Degree study consisted of two years of didactic courses and two years of clinical training.
NYCPM is the nation’s oldest and largest college of podiatric medicine and has remained at the forefront of podiatric medical education for over 90 years.
It combined outstanding classroom instruction with clinical training in the world’s largest foot care clinic, The Foot Clinics of New York.
The Foot Clinics of New York receive more than 56,000 patient visits a year, and residency programs at 170 affiliated hospitals nationwide.
Dr. Bradley, DPM, AACFAS, received surgical training in Forefoot and Rearfoot/Ankle Reconstruction.
Multidisciplinary team of Podiatry, Plastic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Interventional Radiology, Occupational and Physical Therapy.
Performed complicated reconstructive limb salvage procedures on diabetic patients as a means to prevent lower extremity amputations.
A three year program which conveys a graduated system of education, from simple fore-foot to complicated rear-foot and ankle procedures.
Training includes a strong emphasis on perioperative care, as well as management of the complicated surgical patient and diabetic limb salvage.
Training in Anesthesia and Wound Care in a Wound Care center was also provided.
During his training he was the chief resident and was trained by some of the top foot and ankle surgeons in the country.
Dr. Bradley had the opportunity to work with many professional athletes including members of the Atlanta Hawks, Atlanta Falcons, and Atlanta United Soccer Team. He has had the opportunity to be a part of medical teams at the NYC Marathon, Boston Marathon, and Peachtree Road Race in Atlanta.
He is also a faculty member of the Podiatry Institute where he has given lectures and taught surgical skills courses nationwide.
Dr. Bradley is the author of the Ankle Arthrodesis chapter in the newest edition of McGlamry’s Comprehensive Textbook of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He has also authored journal articles relating to different treatments for foot drop.
Dr. Bradley, DPM, AACFAS completed his training in June 2020 achieving board certification by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and Board Qualified in Foot Surgery and Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
